Good Price and Careless Landlords in Centretown

Pros: This art deco building has character and the units are spacious, rent is fair, neighbours are polite. Not a noisy building at all. No pests, they seem to have pest control visit regularly which is great! Cons: superintendents take ages to fix anything, there are some serious health/safety violations here: leaks, mould, cracks in walls and ceiling that will never be addressed. Buzzers don't work, many electrical outlets don't work. 1 washer and dryer for the building and they are often out of service for weeks at a time. They also only allow 1 name on the lease, which we found odd (so for a couple cohabitating, only one person legally lives there). Overall a good building, but not for anyone who isn't willing to cough up some a lot of cash for their own unit repairs.
