Cockroaches AND bedbugs

I have been living in my unit for 3 years. Before I even moved in I saw complaints on rentitornot about this building saying there were cockroaches and bed bugs. I brought this up to the staff before signing the lease and they assured us that that was untrue. Within a few months of living here I found cockroaches in my apartment. I will at least give them credit that they responded to my complaints and sent an exterminator to treat my unit, but they've had to come back several times since the building is infested. Recently, I discovered bed bugs in the laundry room, so I am just waiting until they make their way into my unit at this point. I absolutely do not recommend this place. There is also this strange infestation of tiny ant that has taken over our bathroom and frequently descends on my cats food. On top of that this is a smoking building, so any time we have the heating or cooling on, our unit absolutely reeks of cigarette smoke. And to top it all off, the fire alarm goes off at least every month, often in the middle of the night. It has only been real once in my three years of living here, but nothing seems to be done about the frequent false alarms.
