I lived here a while ago and I must admit the landlords we're quick to fix things but with shortcuts. Shortcuts on maintenance, and mice. The amount of house centipedes is DISGUSTING! Even for a student house no one should have to live with mice everywhere!
My roomies and I threw out our mattresses and box springs in the trash because of the bugs. The floors are warped inside the home and it's not very well done from what I can remember. The area isn't great either, shelter housing across the street and a lot of drug activity (pick ups only - that I know of).
The landlady and landlord must live in an alternate reality because they are just unreasonable. He said we had mice because we were a bit messy. In fact it is because the house has a mouldy "basement". More like a crawlspace I never went down there but the smell is awful. The house must be full of mould considering there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom.
Glad I moved out when I did years ago. A friend of mine knows the most recent tenants (through a friend I suppose) and apparently it hasn't gotten any better. Last I heard they moved out because they kept getting sick and the landlord wouldn't do anything. I feel bad that there was no warning that they were able to Google. Based on when I was there as a student, I'd have the house torn down.
